The NIBCO® cast iron butterfly valve provides ease of operation with quarter-turn (90 degrees) open to close. The Buna-N cartridge seat liner with aluminum bronze disc has good abrasion resistance properties and compatibility with solvents, oil, water and hydraulic fluid for compressed air. The lug type butterfly valve features live loaded adjustable packing with a unique flush-mounted packing gland. The high performance valve also provides uni-directional dead-end service and includes an arrow on the body to indicate the flow direction. It includes a one-piece, blowout-proof 17-4PH stainless steel stem with 304 stainless steel bushings PTFE coated. Seats are glass reinforced PTFE to provide exceptional chemical and heat resistance. Other features include the powder coated epoxy finish, direct mount actuation, integrally cast disc-stop and dual offset design.
