NIBCO makes it easy to balance mechanical and plumbing systems with our new lead-free and dezincification-resistant manual balancing valve. Our lead-free 1805 Series fixed orifice manual balancing valve is faster and easier to set because it does not require any special calculators or meters. Integral pressure temperature ports provide a direct readout across the orifice; optimum flow is quickly and accurately determined by simply measuring the differential pressure. The NIBCO® 1805 manual balancing valves are equipped with a union end that will provide up to a double reduction in inlet connection size. A isolation feature and a memory stop is also provided for system maintenance. Item Description
The lug type butterfly valve features live loaded adjustable packing with a unique flush-mounted packing gland. The high performance valve also provides uni-directional dead-end service and includes an arrow on the body to indicate the flow direction. Seats are glass reinforced PTFE to provide exceptional chemical and heat resistance. Other features include the powder coated epoxy finish, direct mount actuation, integrally cast disc-stop and dual offset design, one-piece, blowout-proof 17-4PH stainless steel stem with 304 stainless steel bushings PTFE coated.
