Item Description
NIBCO engineers have redesigned the top works of the valve to make it easier to install and service. The stem is triple sealed with double O-rings and PTFE packing. The easily accessible, large pack nut can be tightened without removing the handle or using a special wrench. This also allows for the packing to be replaced and serviced. Item Description
The lug type butterfly valve features live loaded adjustable packing with a unique flush-mounted packing gland. The high performance valve also provides uni-directional dead-end service and includes an arrow on the body to indicate the flow direction. It includes a one-piece, blowout-proof 17-4PH stainless steel stem with 304 stainless steel bushings PTFE coated. Seats are glass reinforced PTFE to provide exceptional chemical and heat resistance. Other features include the powder coated epoxy finish, direct mount actuation, integrally cast disc-stop and dual offset design.
