The 6'''' FSC Ductile Iron Wye Type Strainer is used to protect downstream equipment from premature fouling and failure due to buildup of sediment and debris. Ideal for use with large diameter backflow assemblies, it features a 300 series perforated stainless steel screen and FDA approved fusion epoxy finish coating, included both inside and out. The FSC also includes a ductile iron main valve body and access cover, and flanged end connections. Pressure and temperature ratings include 200 psi at 150°F WOG and 125 psi at 450°F steam. While horizontal installation with the strainer cap facing downward is preferred, the strainer provides protection in any orientation.
